Software Design:  Complex embedded software protocol stacks and DSP solutions are developed to comply with international standards whilst providing feature rich, efficient, and reliable performance.  Our software engineers bring a wealth of experience in embedded and PC based application software development to the team using tools and programming languages such as C, C++, Assembler, .net and Visual Basic.  Our vast experience of AIS product development has lead to an unrivalled understanding of the technical challenges for AIS products.

Baseband Design:  Our products and designs use leading edge technologies for ARM, FPGA and DSP platforms.  All development including VHDL design, PCB layout and power supply design is completed in–house with no external licensed technology elements.  Our baseband engineers are multi-skilled and have experience of hardware, software and mechanical design and development. 

RF Design:  VHF radio design is a real challenge as there are no highly integrated single-chip solutions as found in the consumer mobile telecommunications market.  Our RF team has worked in AIS radio design since the standard was first conceived and has developed complex radio front-ends for all our AIS products with an outstanding reputation for performance with our customers. 

Production Test:  All our products and solutions come with versatile test-modes, which enable fully automated test systems to be developed for low cost and rapid volume production.  Automated test systems developed using industry standard tools and techniques are available for all our AIS products as required by our customers.
