DJ Software Radio Technology: AIS Class A Transceiver gets Approvals

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Software Radio Technology PLC (SRT.LN), develops advanced radio communications technologies, said Friday its new AIS Class A transceiver has received all formal E.U., U.S. and Canadian
certifications and the first units are now being shipped to customers.
MAIN FACTS:
-AIS Class A is designed for commercial and larger leisure vessels, incorporating many sophisticated features and functions not specified in the simpler, lower cost Class B devices.
-Shares at 0720 GMT up 2 pence, or 11%, at 21.25 pence valuing the company at GBP20.54 million.
